Group BLS

Group BLS training in the Bay Area

For healthcare and dental teams

AHA BLS Provider is the American Heart Association course for healthcare providers. In blended form, each person finishes HeartCode BLS online, sold separately by the AHA, then the hands-on skills session and test take about 60 minutes in person.

Running it onsite keeps a clinic or office team together and off the road. Each AHA BLS Provider card is valid for 2 years.

About AHA BLS Provider

Who books onsite

Teams that need the same card at the same time: clinics, dental and medical offices, workplaces with named first aid responders, and child care and school staff.

Offices, warehouses and retail teams

AHA Heartsaver First Aid CPR AED, for the people your workplace names to give first aid, CPR and AED care until help arrives.

Child care, schools and youth programs

Do you offer group BLS training in the Bay Area?

Yes. Group AHA BLS Provider training is held at your site in San Francisco or elsewhere in the Bay Area. Tell us the address in the request and we confirm travel and timing when we reply. Group BLS pricing starts at 5 students.

What is the minimum group size?

Group pricing for AHA BLS and AHA Heartsaver starts at 5 students. The calculator goes up to 30+. For Red Cross, or a smaller group, send the request anyway and we reply with the options.

Is onsite training the same course and card as a public class?

Yes. It is the same course: AHA BLS Provider (online + 60 min in person), AHA Heartsaver First Aid CPR AED (online + 60 min in person) or Red Cross Adult & Pediatric First Aid CPR AED (online + 120 min in person). Each student does the online part first, then the hands-on session and skills test happen at your site. Cards are issued after each student passes and are valid for 2 years.

Yes, the online part. For the two AHA courses the online part is sold separately by the American Heart Association (HeartCode BLS for BLS). For Red Cross, the online part is included. We confirm what your quote covers when we reply.

What do we need at our workplace?

A room with enough floor space for students to kneel beside a manikin, chairs, and a table. Tell us about the room, parking and building access in the notes and we plan around it.
